Featured Artist:
Adult Survivors Group

A Mandala is a circular design that grows out of the urge to know and connect with the wise, inner self, experiencing completeness as a whole being and as an individual.  The womb-like structure of the mandala creates a feeling of safety and protection, and the shape represents a cycle of energy and renewal.

The artists are adult survivors of child sexual abuse who currently receive group therapy from Katie Knust, M.A. LMHC, a therapist who works for Monarch Children's Justice and Advocacy Center, and in private practice. The art within the mandala represents the movement from darkness to light...the journey from sexual trauma to healing and transformation.
